Reliable harbour towage and ice-breaking services
YHB – short for Oy Yxpila Hinaus – Bogsering Ab – has operated in the Port of Kokkola for over 40 years. Kokkola is one of the largest ports in Finland, and it is our job to help ensure that the wheels of industry keep turning, even in the dead of the winter.
Our fleet consists of six vessels. Four of them are ASD-type tugs, and five double as icebreakers. In addition to assisting ships, we also handle the port’s ice-breaking duties in the wintertime. Our modern and multifunctional fleet is the largest in the Gulf of Bothnia, which ensures that we can offer harbour towing and ice-breaking services at short notice in a large area.
In all our operations, our goal is to offer our clients high-quality services safely. To ensure this, we maintain our equipment carefully and train our crews regularly.
Our vessels are available at very short notice, either through your shipping agent or directly via our company number: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
